This policy governs your use of the Qbserve application (“Application”) for macOS.
Qbserve is designed for privacy. All activity data (browsing, app usage, window titles, content, screenshots, etc.) is stored locally on your Mac and is not sent to us.
To keep the Application reliable, we collect limited diagnostic data: operating system version and language, Application version, crash reports, and coarse usage indicators such as days of usage. We do not collect IP addresses, device identifiers, user identifiers, activity logs, or content.
We do not sell or share data for advertising purposes.
We process diagnostic data under our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving the Application.
We use a third-party crash reporting service to process diagnostic data on our behalf. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to handle data securely and only for the purposes described in this policy.
Diagnostic data may be processed in Chile and by our service providers in other countries, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
We retain diagnostic data for up to 12 months, unless a longer period is needed to investigate recurring technical issues or comply with legal obligations.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect diagnostic data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we aim to reduce risk proportionately to the minimal data we collect.
